How to Create Quotes in Chargeee?

In this guide, we will learn how to create quotes for new subscriptions, existing subscriptions, and one-time charges using ChargeBee. As your company scales and moves upmarket, quotes become mission-critical when selling to enterprise deals in your pipeline. ChargeBee helps you send quotes to customers efficiently.
Navigate to Settings.
Click on Configure ChargeBee.
Scroll down to find Customer-Facing Essentials.
Move to Invoices, Credit Notes, and Quotes, then click on Quotes.
Enable quotes to start sending them out from your ChargeBee workspace.
Set your quote title and numbering preferences.
Determine if taxes are applicable.
Specify the validity period for your quote.
Set the redirection link for customers upon quote acceptance.
Display payment terms on the quote if desired.
Add any notes for customer reference.
Include the salesperson's signature.
Add payment instructions if applicable.
Once configured, click on Apply Changes. Quotes will now be enabled in your workspace.
Go to the Customers tab and open a customer profile.
Click on Create Quote.
Select New Subscription for prospects needing approval.
Add the desired plan, applicable add-ons, or coupons.
Name your quote and set an expiry date.
Specify the subscription start date upon acceptance and payment.
Configure the billing cycle and add specific notes if needed.
Ensure your signature is included for trust.
Click on Create Quote.
After creation, email a PDF of the quote to the customer. You can enable checkout or get acceptance via email or phone call. Update the quote status manually as accepted, declined, or closed.
Select a subscription needing changes.
Make necessary changes, such as plan upgrades or additional licenses.
Name your quote, set the expiry date, and configure billing cycles.
Click on Create Quote.
This creates a quote for an existing subscription that needed changes.
Click on Create Quote.
Select One-Time Charge.
Add a quick charge, such as an implementation fee.
Name your quote, set an expiry date, and fill in the required fields.
Click on Create Quote.
This creates a quote for a one-time charge.
