How to Edit and Manage an Active Subscription

In this guide, we will explore how to effectively edit and manage an active subscription. Follow these steps to make the necessary changes to your subscription.

Step 1: Open an Active Subscription

Begin by opening the active subscription you wish to edit. Here, you will find all the available actions you can perform.

Step 2: Edit Subscription Details

Once you have opened the subscription, you can edit various sections:

  • Change Plan, Add-ons, and Coupons: If the customer wants to switch to a different plan or increase the quantity of add-ons (e.g., adding an additional user), you can make these changes here.

  • Edit Billing Cycles: Adjust the billing cycles according to the customer's needs.

Step 3: Apply Changes

Decide when to apply the changes:

  • Immediately: Credits and charges will be applied to the subscription right away.

  • Next Renewal: Changes will take effect during the next renewal period.

  • End of Billing Term: Changes will be applied at the end of the current billing term.

  • Specific Date: Select a particular date for the changes to take effect.

If you choose to apply changes immediately, you will need to decide on invoicing options, such as immediate invoicing or adding to unbilled charges.

Step 4: Update Customer Details

You can also update customer details, such as their email address, and manage the subscription status:

  • Pause or Cancel Subscription: Adjust the subscription status as required by the customer.

  • Add Coupons or One-time Add-ons: Include additional features like a support add-on.

  • Quick Charge: Apply a service charge for a specific period.

  • Request Payment Method Update: Trigger an email to the customer to update their payment method.

  • Edit Next Billing Date: Change the next billing date based on customer requirements.

Step 5: Delete Subscription (If Necessary)

As an admin, you have the permission to delete a subscription. However, please note that this action is irreversible, and all data associated with the subscription, such as invoices, transactions, and reports, will be permanently deleted.

These are all the actions you can perform on an active subscription. Thank you for watching.
