How to Record an Offline Refund in ChargeBee

In this guide, we will walk you through the steps to record an offline payment in ChargeBee.

Steps to Record an Offline Refund

1. Access the Invoices Section:

   Navigate to the Invoices section in ChargeBee.

2. Select the Paid Invoice:

   Click on the paid invoice for which you want to record the offline refund.

3. Record an Offline Refund:

   In the Invoice Details, select Record an Offline Refund under Payment and Credit Actions.

4. Enter Refund Details:

   In the pop-up window, fill in the following details:

   • Refund amount

   • Date and time of the refund

   • Reason for the refund

   • Payment method

   • Optional: Reference number

   • Optional: Invoice note

5. Proceed with the Refund:

   Once you have entered all the details, click the Proceed button.

6. Confirm the Refund:

   In the Confirmation pop-up, add a comment if needed and click the Update button to record the offline refund.
