How to Use Filters in ChargeBee

In this guide, we will learn how to use filters to quickly find data in ChargeBee. This is especially useful if you have a large number of customers, subscriptions, and products. ChargeBee offers both quick and advanced filters to help you locate the information you need.

Filtering Data in ChargeBee

You can filter any of the tabs in the left pane, including:

  • Customers

  • Subscriptions

  • Invoices

  • Credit Notes

  • Quotes

  • Product Catalog

  • Transactions under Logs

Step-by-Step Guide to Applying Filters

  1. Open the Customers Tab: Start by opening the Customers tab.

  2. View Commonly Used Filters: Click on "All Customers" at the top to view commonly used filters for customer records.

  3. Select a Filter: Open a filter, such as "Customers who have Active Subscription," to see the records that match this filter.

  4. View Filter Conditions: Click on the filter icon to see the conditions set for the selected filter. This is known as the filter bar, where you can add conditions for the filters you want to create.

  5. Add Conditions: Add conditions such as "Email is present" and "Company is present."

  6. Apply the Filter: Click on "Apply Filter" to view the filtered records.

  7. Save the Filter: To save this filter for future use, click on "Save Filter as Segment," give it a name, and select "Make this segment accessible to all" so that everyone in your workspace can access it.

  8. Save the Segment: Click on "Save." Once saved, you will find it under the commonly used filters list, such as "Email" and "Company."
